"What have I to do with worldly things? My connection with the world is like that of a traveler resting for a while underneath the shade of a tree and then moving on."
while one is responsible and active, one does not worry about the past or future. The detachment is towards the result of one's actions rather than towards everything in life. This concept is cited extensively within Puranic and Vedic literature, for example: One who performs his duty without attachment, surrendering the results unto the Supreme Lord, is unaffected by sinful action, as the lotus is untouched by water. —Bhagavad Gita 5.10:
I acted to the situation as if I am in the theatre acting. I made up a charactor that I can play to cope with the daily actions.
But now I have lost the sense of the theathre. I think everything around me is so real and making me stress, strain and limitation. I take everything so serious and act as if this is what is all about.
The child of me would tell me that everyone thinks this is a real world, so act with it and be nice to them.
This attachment, worldly engagement and overwhelming situations.. This is how I take the situation now.
How can I be positive, helpful, energiatic, inspiring like I wish to be with all these attachments.
I got to take easy with what I see, feel, hear, taste, touch because This is a theathre and I am the audience. Not a actor.
