This Video is based on the story 'River Kalkusis' written by myself in 2011.
The story is about the spirit of River Kalkusis taking form of a dog to give message to people. The message is
‘I am the river of Kalkusis itself. I came to earth temporarily to experience the lives around me. I have no wish to anyone about how they treat me.
I foresee the future problem of my river Kalkusis.
There will be shortage of water, over flooding, pollution and misuses of the land.
Before all these problems are going to happen, I came to you to tell you that I have only love for you.
I do not mind how you are going to treat my body river Kalkusis. My wish is for you to understand my infinite love to you people. Do not feel obligated that you need to act for such issues that you are going to hurt my body. I understand this problem from long time ago. This is necessary to happen in order for you to rise spiritually.
My all is for you my son. I am here for love.
No more, No less.’
This video is shot at Benaras, India where holy Ganges water runs. This video expresses the spirit of the river through number of dogs live by the river.
This video is dealing with environmental issue. The suggestion for the issue is not to go against the cause but to appreciate it and receive its gift.

Short story of 'River Kalkusis'
River Kalkusis
There was a milk cow.
The milk cow was a cow that was born from a milk cow and the grand parents of a milk cow were milk cows. Milk cows are traditionally chained on the riverside of Kalkusis.
The river of Kalkusis is a small river and only locals know about the river. But the locals knew the river very well. An old woman would recall 13 generations before this milk cow with the memories she carries about her sons and daughters and friends.
The locals knew so much about the river Kalkusis since they were small. The river Kalkusis was the school of everything. All the manners began from the river by accepting the water as the source of life. Everything was connected to the River Kalkusis. There was fishing, washing, bathing, prayer and festivals for the Kalkusis.
River Kalkusis had tremendous stories about how the God and Goddess surround the river and inspires people to surrender themselves.
There was one story about a dog and goddess.
The dog was named Namyed and was particularly a smart dog. Not only she understood the words people say but also she foresees the personalities and even the future events.
Her owner was a sadhu Sidhar and he gave the dog maximum freedom. The Sadhu slept with Namyed few times a year but normally Namyed was absent all day, all night from the hat of Sidhar except for the mealtime at 5pm. Namyed would not come for the meal everyday also. So sadhu Sidhar would not prepare extra food for Namyed. He gave his food when Namyed is around.
There was a hot and humid summer night on late May when Namyed came back to hut at late night. She was exhausted and sweating very hard. As soon as she entered the hat, she drank lots of water and collapse on the floor. Next morning when Named was still asleep, one old man came to Siddar’s hut with stoned eyes.
‘Sidhar-ji, the dog Namyed that you own is a human of the future.
Last night, I saw Namyed at the side of the river Kalkusis. When she was on the bank of the river, I saw thousands of fishes gathered for her. I even saw a big fish that I have never seen before. And the light from the lower part of east sky came down to the river. The river looked filled with light just like it was daytime.
Namyed walked into middle of the river and disappeared with the engulfing light. I thought she was dead. That is why I came here to your hut to see if Namyed is back or is she really dead.’
The man said.
Sidhar replied with smile and didn’t say much that morning. He was not surprised or moved nor did he even have an emotion.
He did ordinary chores just like every other day.
Namyed only woke up at 3pm in the afternoon that day. She woke up and looked into the eyes of Sadhu Sidhar.
Sounds funny but from the look of this Namyed, a Sidhar got a message.

After a few days, Namyed left the hut quietly and never came back again.
And Sadhu Sidhar spent least of his life offering his food at 5pm every afternoon to the river.
