I know Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and I went to concert when his brother came to Singapore but I was disappointed by the disco like electronic key boards and other western instruments backing up his Qawwal just like the Bollywood singer.
So I was not expecting much from today's concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall.
But It was poetic and full of energy.
I think Abu ran out of his energy but the all other singers backed up.
It was great that everyone and the solo and it was spontaneous. The clap was very secret too.
